What Is Savage Affiliates?

Savage Affiliates is an affiliate marketing course that teaches you how to make money online, and was created by Franklin Hatchett.

The course is available as a “Standard” course, for $197, and a “Super” course for $297. I personally have the Super version of the course.

Who Is Franklin Hatchett?

Franklin Hatchett is a successful online marketer, ecommerce business owner and YouTuber, with a very substantial following of more than 400K subscribers.

Franklin Hatchett really knows his stuff when it comes to affiliate marketing. He has created a ton of videos on his YouTube channel that are filled with different strategies that show you step-by-step how you can make money online.

What Support Is Available?

There isn’t much support available unfortunately.

Even the link to the Facebook group did not work for me. I tried emailing support a few times but never got any response.

Is There A Money Back Guarantee?

Yes there is, but you have to meet certain conditions in order to qualify for the money back guarantee.

You need to go through the course within 30 days, and if you do not get any results, Franklin will provide a full refund.

I have a few issues with this. The course is JAM-PACKED with content and has a lot of different affiliate marketing strategies you can follow. I honestly think that it is way too big of an ask to get somebody to put into action the ENTIRE course within just 30 days.

This is because some of the required tasks include: building a website, building funnels on ClickFunnels, creating Facebook ads, running Facebook ads, setting up an autoresponder and creating emails, creating a YouTube channel, keyword research, creating blog posts, creating content for a YouTube channel, creating backlinks for your blog posts and these are just a few.

My personal belief is that it is best for your growth and progression to pick one strategy and focus on it. This is because if you truly are a complete newbie to anything to do with building a business online, then this course is going to overwhelm you, and if you try to do every single strategy listed above within 30 days, you are likely going to burn out, experience frustration, and possibly even give up.

It is for this reason that I prefer Taking Action Online by Phillip Borrowman. It is by far one of the most beginner-friendly courses I have ever taken, and… it’s literally 100% free to get access to the first 12 steps of the plan. He takes you through one strategy and believes in focusing on being consistent, rather than spreading yourself too thin and always looking for the next big thing. You can sign up here.

My Opinion on Savage Affiliates

Franklin Hatchett’s course feels like it is a big compilation of many different strategies compiled together. It is PACKED full of content and value, which is quite good considering the price sways towards the cheaper side of courses in the “make money online” niche.

My biggest downside with the course is that the way the content is structured should have been done in a better way.

Some of the strategies contain knowledge that is covered in separate modules. But he mentions that you can skip some videos and only focus on particular ones based on what you want to do.

My personal issue with this is that if you are a complete beginner, you likely do not know which strategy you want to do, and because the course does not lead you down a straightforward path, this could be very confusing.

Due to the fact that the course is cluttered and confusing, I would recommend an alternative course called Taking Action Online as it is more direct and beginner friendly. It’s also free! You can sign up here.

As another alternative, I believe you probably could go through Franklin’s YouTube videos until you find a strategy that you like, and then consistently stick to it.

The strategies that are covered in the course I believe are all covered on his YouTube channel, with the exception of the Done For You campaigns and the step-by-step instructions that show you how to set up a WordPress website.

However, some of the Done For You campaigns no longer work because some of the products are no longer available on the affiliate sites.

The course is not up to date. It’s a few years old. I can tell because in the Facebook Ads modules, the user interface that Franklin shares on his screen is very old.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  1. Lots of content
  2. Franklin definitely knows his stuff
  3. Lots of tips and tricks
  4. Provides free copy and paste funnels, email templates and free content you can use

Cons & 5 reasons not to buy

  1. Hard to follow
  2. Not organised or structured well
  3. Modules & Videos are not named well: The naming is difficult to understand from a first glance. This makes it hard when you want to revise content in future, as you will need to click through and watch multiple videos and modules until you find the right one, causing frustration.
  4. Lack of support available
  5. Course is not up-to-date

How Does Savage Affiliates Super Compare To My #1 Recommendation?

Savage Affiliates Super is overall too cluttered and not structured in a way that is easy to digest. It jumps from strategy to strategy. I don’t think that this course knows who exactly its target market is. It contains a lot of information, but is very overwhelming for beginners, and also confusing for beginners to decide which strategy to choose.

Taking Action Online by Phillip Borrowman is my number #1 recommendation for affiliate marketing. The best part is that you get 12 very detailed steps of the course 100% free.

It focuses on ONE strategy in detail, and is structured perfectly for beginners.

Phillip Borrowman is very conscious of his target market (beginners), and does a great job of setting expectations as well as inspiring you to take action.

The course is up-to-date, and simple to follow along (and did I mention… FREE)!

Conclusion

Concluding my honest Savage Affiliates review, Franklin Hatchett’s course contains a lot of valuable and insightful content, however its poor structure is confusing and overwhelming for beginners.
